Junior Varsity Players

There seems to be a lot of complaining about JV and Varsity Players swinging. Is it fair to a child who is in 8th, 9th, or 10th grade who happens

First Year On Ice

Austin and Zack of the Valley West jv maroon team are having good years being its only their first year playing ice hockey. They are both good players who can score goals. Even though their team record isn't good valley west will have a solid team for the next couple of years. Keep up the good work you guys!!!

Playoffs

I was just looking at the playoff schedule. I am confused. I have never seen a playoff schedule where the #2 seed plays #7, #3 plays #8 (and down on through to #6 playing #11). Don't playoffs usually play the highest and lowest seeds (e.g. 2 - 11; 3 - 10; 4 - 9, etc.)

A GREAT SEASON FOR ALL JV TEAMS

I WOULD LIKE TO COMMEND ALL THE JV TEAMS THIS YEAR FOR A GREAT SEASON. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE PLAYOFFS. AS YOU KNOW IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR RECORD IS AT THE END OF THE SEASON, IT WAS YOU DO IN THE PLAYOFFS THAT COUNT. SO AS FAR AS PITTSON AREA GOES GOOD LUCK IN THE PLAYOFFS. ALL THE TEAMS SHOULD BE COMMENDED ON A GREAT YEAR. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS.

Varsity Players

I think it is pretty ridiculous how JV teams in the league have to pull down their varsity players to be able to compete. With this going on, teams that aren't pulling down varsity will have to pull down players eventually if they want to even have a chance against other teams who are pulling down varsity. It just shows how bad your team really is when you have to pull down varsity to compete.

not so neutral

i am not defending the unsportsmanlike act of some of wilkes barre players but if you are so neutral how did you miss # 13 hitting three times to the head of wolfpack players with his stick when refs were not looking is that not hanson like or maybe just smart hockey as far as you are concerned

Coaching vs. The Board of Directors

Recently I have seen numerous occasions throughout the league of good coaches being stifled by their respective board of directors.

pittston jv beat the 2 best teams in the league already abington and s.v 4-3 and 7-3 and the only reason abington and s.v have more points is because they played two more games than pa.

pittston jv is going to win the championship and no one can stop alan folweiler along with the playing of pat barone and the rest of pittston jv.
