Good luck to all teams!
Weather permitting, some locals are putting on a pond hockey tournament at the end of January on Lake Wallenpaupack. The tournament can use any and all volunteers to assist with show removal, officiating, etc. I know that some schools require students to obtain a certain number of volunteer hours so this would be a great opportunity to fulfill those hours as well as get some skating in on the lake!
Note that to play in the tournament you must be 21 years of age or older. Alcohol will be served by local participating bars and restaurants. I wanted to point this out in case any school has a policy against volunteering at an event where alcohol is being served.

Enjoy the holidays and make a wish for cold weather so we can all get some outdoor skating in this winter!
The second half of the schedule will be posted soon, so check the site and Facebook often. In the meantime, don’t forget about the Casey Classic and holiday public skates at the local rinks!
Weather system arriving Friday night starting at 11 PM. Game with Susquehanna and Valley West on Friday night may need to be rescheduled. Decision will be made by noon on Friday by Susquehanna.
Check the schedule here. Always check with your coach on the final word on any weather cancellations!
If you are heading to a game at Revolution from the north this weekend, you might want to leave some extra time or check http://www.511pa.com/TravelConditions/TravelDelay.aspx before leaving. Due to bridge work on 81S, route 315 north and south was closed last night and as recently as this morning. Traffic is being detoured over Oak St and through Yatesville.
